HFFG Marks hand-washing day at Tarkwa
Hope For Future Generations (HFFG) last Monday spent the 2018 Global hand washing day at New Techiman in the Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality sensitizing the general public, including Zoomlion workers, schools and some artisans on regular #hand-washing with soap for clean hands and good #health.
It was under the theme ‘Clean hands – recipe for health’. More than 350 people were taken through hand washing basics, especially before cooking, eating, feeding others, after visiting the lavatory or changing baby diapers and following farm work.
Participants were told how important it is to wash hands regularly to prevent diseases such as diarrhea, cholera as well as creating germ-free homes and working environments.
105 participants were made to display hand-washing skills under running water to climax the occasion.
