HFFG Mobilises Open Defecation-Free Communities

Hope for Future Generations has been working with UNICEF on WASH projects in Ghana’s regions to ensure community-led mobilisation around sanitation.

 

The Fact Sheet below details how HFFG’s District Resource Person acts as a liaison in this important process assisting with movement building and consciousness raising about proper sanitation management practices. The process entails the natural selection of leaders within project communities, collective construction of latrines, verification and celebration of the ongoing results.
